I built this credenza out of scrap wood from my dad's cabinet shop a few months ago. I got the idea for building all of this scrap-wood stuff from all of the off-fall material that we have accumulated at the shop. I've been saving every little piece of material that would have been thrown away. Basically, if i can put finish on it, I save it. This credenza has walnut, wenge, poplar, mahogany, shop plywood, and oak in it.

I drilled 3/4" holes into the sliding doors as pulls. I made these custom angled hairpin legs out of 1/2" steel rod and 1" flat bar. I did them the same way I made the potence lamp with a pipe and a wheel clamped to the bench.

You can see the scrap pile "wall" is out of control. This is only a portion of it too. The credenza has adjustable shelving inside each half of the cabinet.
