I made an upper cabinet for the guest bathroom out of construction OSB ($15/sheet). I really like the look of this wood and if you sand it good enough and put enough finish on it, it actually comes out smooth. I took a small piece of frosted Plexiglass and routed it into the wood flush with a fluorescent light behind it. I'm thinking of using a fine wood (teak, walnut, rosewood) for the sliding doors, for contrast. Or, white-painted glass.
