We've had a steady flow of orders and some exciting big projects as well (thanks to you guys!!) so new stuff coming into production (and blog posts) has been a little slower than usual. Especially with the holiday season approaching. Even so, I've still had the chance to squeeze some old and new ideas in during late lights.

I've had alot of requests for a wall-mount bike rack and I've always kept it on my mind. The other day I suddenly had the idea of using the mold I use for the plywood shelves and my motorcycle seat on edge and notching the arms for a bike body. I put together a prototype that holds my steel frame Bianchi pretty well. Roxy suggested the leather grips which I think was pretty brilliant. I've already started doing glueups for more of these and doubled up the ply to make it even stronger in case you guys have some really heavy bikes. These should be in the shop by the new yer, hopefully sooner!

I put together a double-headed hardwired lamp. Each shade has it's own independent switch and swivel separately. It was a little tricky to figure out the wiring and assembly but I finally figured it out. I'll have these in black and white with brass, colored and maybe even copper shades.

I've never been a huge fan of blue, even though many people are. We've offered the Aqua Blue color ever since we did a project for a hotel in Puerto Escondido, Mexico but it's more of a bright turquoise really. My brother suggested we offer an industrial sort of navy blue powdercoat option so we through in a few lamp parts on the last powdercoat batch and picked this color we're calling Interstate Blue. As soon as we got the parts back, I decided I love it.

Thanks again for all of your support guys, we are working as hard as we ever have and have been growing as a company. We couldn't have done it without you, especially everyone that has been following my progress since I first started the OneFortyThree blog years ago.

Thanks! Yes all of our hardwired fixtures are UL listed and rated for damp locations.

……wonderful, inventive items….

Are any of the hard wired wall lamps damp rated?

Thanks.
